These beautiful animals tell the story of my skin over the past few years since I began to re-pigment.
Of course, these gorgeous creatures don’t have vitiligo. I just love horses. And it occurred to me that their vastly differing patterns would be a fun illustration of how much my own skin colour has changed since I started to see the first signs of re-pigmentation.
Picture number 4 is where I am now (about three and a half years ago at the time of writing this post). But I’m happy to say that I no longer have any white patches on my face now and I do have a lot more colour to my hands and feet than this lovely horse has on its fetlocks 😉
